@Lesshardtofind - after all, operating systems are tools too. If you enjoy the one you're working with, there's no need to switch anyway. There's a lot of fussing around different linux distributions, and I don't always get the point of an argument over why *buntu is better or worse than distribution X or Y.
When it comes down to actually using your system instead of just looking at the fancy default desktop, they are all pretty much the same. The major difference usually is in the package manager and some minor distribution-related configuration tools. As for the package manager, I like dpkg/apt as used by Debian and *buntu, but rpm, pacman and whatever you'll find out there do not do a better or worse job. They all install software from repositories and take care of dependencies, and after all that's it.
